Management Commitment
Reinforce the expectation that all
employees are personally accountable for their own safety and that they
understand and comply with all applicable safety and health procedures
required by the clients served.
Provide all employees with
necessary Personal Protective Equipment in order to perform their work
safely.
Conduct quarterly safety meetings
designed to communicate and respond to employee concerns and inform
employees of changing company or client requirements.
Review Company Safety and Health
practices, procedures and performance on a periodic basis to ensure
that, as a growing company, all relevant issues are proactively
addressed.
Employee Accountability
Understand and comply with all
applicable client health and safety procedures including actions
required in the event of an emergency.
Complete required client
contractor orientation training prior to beginning work on site.
Report, investigate and follow up
as necessary, all incidents or accidents involving company employees.
Proactive Communications and
Training
Provide, at company expense, any
necessary training for employees to effectively carry out their job
duties.
Recognize that, as service and
consulting providers, the expectation exists to report to the client,
all observed unsafe conditions or behaviors using client incident or
near miss reporting practices or other effective means.
Management of Subcontractors
Conduct safety meetings with
sub-contractors prior to beginning work to ensure expectations for safe
work are communicated and potential job hazards are identified and
addressed appropriately.
